The AHJ Marine division team was founded in 1973 and is recognised for its professionalism, service and quality products. We are specialists in marine treaty and facultative reinsurance focused on the Lloyd’s and European markets. We place proportional and non-proportional solutions for classes including:

• Cargo
• Specie
• Aviation
• Aquaculture

Our knowledge and historical perspective, combined with our innovative thinking, leads to valuable solutions. For example, we have designed and developed a product for Peak Risk and Catastrophe exposures. This is a unique product which a member of our team would be delighted to tell you more about.

We have also expanded our capabilities in handling specialist Marine insurance classes, with the addition of Richard Cirsch to the team.

We have also developed a unique experience in Aquaculture, with expertise both in reinsurance (broking) and insurance (underwriting). We act as underwriters for a number of Lloyd’s syndicates through our Global Aquaculture Insurance Consortium.
