The accounts department consists of a number of highly experienced members, headed up by Mark Walker (Manager) and Steven Griffin (Assistant Manager). Both Mark and Steve joined AHJ in the late 1980s and they are supported by Jamie Beaven and Gabriella Manzone.
The team is primarily responsible for the administration and movement of client monies, the Insurance Accounts team liaise closely with their claims and broking colleagues to minimise the time it takes to pass funds between clients and (re)insurers. The accounts, claims and broking divisions are all situated in close proximity. We do not outsource these crucial functions.
We have an integrated accounting system which provides a live update of all ledgers, allowing us to monitor and action any items whilst keeping a clear and concise log of accounts activity. To assist in this we have developed bespoke, in-house accounting systems which provide for flexible and unique reporting to management, credit control meetings and the AHJ Board.
We understand the importance of cash flow to our business partners and that we apply service standards accordingly to ensure quick settlement.
